Summer Serenade 2024: Duoro Concert Cruise

    You’ll travel to Portugal 🇵🇹 and Spain 🇪🇸 —  cruising on the Douro from/to Porto experiencing small(er) charming historic villages and stunning scenery.

  • Dates

    Mark your calendar for the following July 2024 dates: Tuesday 7/16 to Saturday 7/27 if traveling Air-Land with pre/post nights in Lisbon. The Cruise-Only (from/to Porto) dates are Thursday 7/18 to Thursday 7/25.

  • Highlights

    Visit Porto, the Douro Valley plus Salamanca (and Lisbon if opting for the full tour experience), travel, eat and relax on the MS Amalia Rodrigues and sing (or hear the choir) in stunning Portuguese and Spanish venues.

    Departure Day from LAX (Air-Land Travelers with Lisbon pre/post nights)

    Today is the departure day from LAX for Air-Land Travelers with Lisbon pre- and post nights. The Summer Serenade Cruise departs from Porto on 7/18 and concludes 7/25 (cruise only option).

    If you’re planning to explore Spain or another destination, please confirm cruise-only at this time of planning.

  • Wednesday, July 17

    Welcome to Lisbon (Air-Land + anyone adding Lisbon pre/post)

    Air-Land travelers arrive at Lisbon airport in the afternoon and explore Portugal’s stunning capital city today, tomorrow (and again 7/25 and 7/26) — staying at the Intercontinental Lisbon. Cruise-only guests can add the Lisbon pre/post experiences too.

  • Thursday, July 18

    Porto Embarkation

    Air-Land travelers and Lisbon pre/post participants transfer to Porto and meet Cruise-only guests aboard the Ms Amalia Rodrigues at 5 pm. Cruise-only guests should plan to fly in/out of Porto.

  • Friday, July 19 to Thursday, July 25

    Douro Cruise

    Your floating home, the MS Amalia Rodrigues cruises from Porto/to Porto via the Douro Valley, a UNESCO World Heritage sight. You’ll stop in charming villages along the way and enjoy a relaxing, very scenic river cruise. Three concerts are being planned for singers during the cruise — with one likely to take place in Salamanca, Spain. Please scroll down for the full detailed itinerary.     Cruise Disembarkation - Lisbon Post-Stay

    Your ship is in Porto today.

    Cruise-only guests bid farewell from Porto (suggested return airport) while our Air-Land travelers return via Fatima to Lisbon for another two nights in Portugal. Air-Land travelers return from Lisbon.

  • Saturday, July 27

    Departure from LIS Lisbon to LAX Los Angeles

    Air-Land Travelers return to LAX today from LIS.

  • Sandra, Ted, and the Incantato/Inside Europe family. Thank you so much for the wonderful choir tour that you planned for us. Karen and I had a most wonderful time. The river cruise was incredible - beautiful ship, fantastic crew, and the food!! We are still in a food coma. Singing in those amazing places, especially Melk Abbey, was quite an experience as well. Again, thank you for setting those up for us. I also want to add a special thank you for answering my questions to help Karen and I enjoy the extra "before and after" days. We truly had one of the best vacations of our married life. Hopefully this won't be the last choir tour we do with you!!!! Thanks again for everything!!!
